Sculptural Wall Lighting
Horsehair Wall Lamp — An Expressive Study in Form and Texture
Inspired by the graceful movement of a horse's mane, the Horsehair Wall Lamp brings a distinctive sculptural quality to interior lighting. Its elongated composition combines a structured iron body, a white acrylic shade and flowing faux horsehair detailing, creating a compelling contrast between architectural precision and organic texture.
Standing 67 cm tall, the fixture establishes a striking vertical presence without requiring extensive wall space. The softly illuminated acrylic element introduces a warm visual counterpoint to the textured silhouette, making the design equally compelling as an atmospheric light source and a decorative wall feature. Available in Bronze Aged, Nickel and Black finishes, it offers three distinct expressions of the same sculptural form.
Design & Material
Architectural structure meets organic movement
The defining characteristic of the Horsehair Wall Lamp is its cascading faux horsehair detail. Evoking the movement and softness of a flowing mane, this sculptural element introduces visual depth and a sense of motion to the otherwise structured composition. The contrasting textures make the fixture an engaging decorative object even when unlit.
An iron structure provides a defined architectural foundation, while the white acrylic shade offers a clean, luminous surface. The contrast between the rigid body, smooth diffuser and flowing detailing creates a layered design that balances contemporary geometry with a more expressive, artistic character.
Dimensions
A slender profile with sculptural height
The Horsehair Wall Lamp measures 67 cm in height and 18 cm in diameter, with a 9 cm projection from the wall. Its elongated proportions create a pronounced vertical feature while maintaining a relatively shallow wall profile.

Finish Options
Three interpretations of a sculptural form
Each finish brings a different character to the iron structure, allowing the fixture to complement a range of interior palettes and architectural treatments.
A warm, aged metallic appearance that introduces depth and a traditional decorative reference to the contemporary silhouette.
A cooler metallic appearance that emphasises the fixture's defined structure and pairs naturally with restrained, contemporary interiors.
A dark, graphic finish that strengthens the sculptural outline and creates a bold contrast against lighter wall surfaces.
Lighting Character
Soft illumination within an expressive silhouette
The Horsehair Wall Lamp combines decorative illumination with a striking material composition. Its white acrylic shade provides a diffusing surface for the G9 light source, softening the appearance of the illuminated element against the textured detailing.
A 3000K warm white G9 LED bulb is a suitable choice for creating a gentle, welcoming atmosphere. The bulb is not included, allowing the required light source to be selected separately.
Rather than relying on high-output illumination, the fixture is particularly suited to layered interior lighting schemes where the visual character of the fitting is as important as the light it provides.
Placement
A decorative focal point for considered interiors
With its 67 cm vertical composition, the Horsehair Wall Lamp works especially well in spaces that benefit from sculptural wall detailing and atmospheric illumination. Its textural design can be used as a standalone statement or repeated to establish a more formal architectural rhythm.
Installation
Hardwired wall installation
The Horsehair Wall Lamp is designed for hardwired wall mounting and operates through an external wall switch, which is not included. It is intended for indoor use in dry locations and is not suitable for bathrooms or damp environments.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Take care when handling the decorative faux horsehair during installation to preserve its flowing arrangement and avoid unnecessary pulling or compression.
Care
Preserving the form and finish
Switch off the power and allow the fitting to cool before cleaning. Gently remove dust from the iron body and acrylic shade using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemical cleaners and excessive moisture.
The faux horsehair detailing should be handled gently to maintain its natural-looking flow. If the strands become untidy, carefully smooth or lightly comb them into position. Do not trim the strands with scissors or disassemble the fixture.
