Curved vertical sections give this traditional pendant an elongated, petal-like silhouette. A sandblasted black die-cast aluminium frame outlines softly translucent faux alabaster panels, creating a defined contrast between dark metalwork and diffused light. Its decorative form complements classic, transitional and Mediterranean-inspired covered exterior settings.
Available in Small, Medium and Large, with widths from 20 to 30 cm / 7.9″ to 11.8″, the collection offers different proportions for entrances, verandas and covered alfresco areas. Adjustable chain suspension of up to 150 cm / 59″ allows the hanging height to be tailored during installation, and one replaceable E26 / E27 bulb is included.
Design & Illumination
Curved ribs, translucent panels and a defined outline
The aluminium framework divides the shade into curved vertical sections, giving the lantern a rhythmic outline. Its sandblasted black finish emphasises the ribs and decorative metalwork, while the elongated body and chain suspension reinforce the traditional proportions.
The faux alabaster panels surround the bulb and conceal it from direct view. Their translucency creates a softly glowing enclosure, balancing the strong metal outline with a gentler illuminated appearance.

Light passes through the translucent faux alabaster sections, giving the shade itself an illuminated presence. The enclosed bulb creates a less direct appearance than an exposed light source, while the dark ribs remain visible around the softly glowing panels.

Installation
Hardwired ceiling mounting with an adjustable chain
The pendant requires a hardwired mains connection and operates on 110–240V. Establish the finished hanging position during installation, accounting for the fixture height and adjustable chain suspension. In covered entrances and circulation areas, allow comfortable passage beneath the light.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Care
Care for the frame and diffuser panels
Switch off the power before cleaning. Wipe the aluminium frame and faux alabaster panels with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.
We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging and accessories.
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Outdoor hanging lights — also called exterior pendant lights or hanging lanterns — are suspended ceiling-mounted fixtures designed for covered outdoor spaces. They're most commonly used on verandahs, patios, porches, pergolas, entryways, and alfresco dining areas, providing ambient overhead lighting while adding a decorative focal point to the space.
Most outdoor hanging lights are rated for covered or sheltered installations only — protected from direct rain but exposed to humidity and temperature changes. If your space is uncovered or exposed to direct weather, look for a fixture with an IP65 rating or higher. The IP rating and installation requirements are listed on each product page.
They hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) ceiling junction box, the same as an indoor pendant. The key difference outdoors is that the junction box must be rated for exterior use and properly sealed. We recommend a licensed electrician for all outdoor ceiling installations.
Yes, on most models. The majority of our outdoor hanging lights come with an adjustable cord or chain that can be shortened at installation. The maximum drop length is listed on each product page so you can plan for your ceiling height before purchasing.
For covered alfresco and patio areas, a minimum clearance of 7 feet (2.1m) from the floor to the bottom of the fixture is recommended. Over dining tables or seating, hanging slightly lower — around 6.5–7 feet (2–2.1m) — creates a more intimate feel. Always account for wind movement in open-sided outdoor spaces.
In open-sided covered areas like pergolas or verandahs, some gentle movement is normal. Look for fixtures with a heavier base or a rigid mounting arm if wind movement is a concern. Lighter fixtures with long cord drops are better suited to fully enclosed or sheltered spaces.
This varies by product and is listed on each product page. Many of our outdoor hanging lights use integrated LED and require no bulb at all. Where a replaceable bulb is required, the compatible type and fitting are specified in the product listing.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — check the product page before purchasing. Where dimming is supported, a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch is required. Outdoor hanging lights can also be placed on a timer or smart switch for automated on/off control.
