This outdoor pillar light combines an H65 brass alloy body with tempered glass, creating a substantial architectural lantern for gates, courtyards, balconies, fence posts and garden pillars. Its pagoda-inspired roofline, decorative borders and framed glass panels give the fixture a traditional character, while the Copper finish introduces warmth across the layered metalwork.
Small, Medium and Large sizes range from W 10″ × D 10″ × H 12″ (W 25.4 × D 25.4 × H 30.5 cm) through to W 16″ × D 16″ × H 18″ (W 40.6 × D 40.6 × H 45.7 cm). Separate solar and hardwired configurations are available, with an integrated LED in the solar version and replaceable E26/E27 LED bulb compatibility in the hardwired version.

Traditional architectural detailing expressed through brass and glass
The broad roofline rises towards a central finial, while the square lantern body is framed by decorative border detailing at the top and lower edges. This layered construction gives the fixture visual depth without losing the clear symmetry expected of traditional pillar lighting.
H65 brass alloy forms the structural body beneath the Copper finish, while tempered glass encloses the illuminated centre. The glass keeps the light visually present through the architectural framework and allows the decorative metal detailing to remain clearly defined after dark.

The tempered glass panels allow the internal illumination to remain visible through the brass-alloy framework, creating a warm visual contrast between the brighter centre and the darker architectural detailing.
The hardwired configuration allows a compatible E26/E27 LED bulb to be selected according to the preferred lighting character, while the solar configuration uses its own integrated LED source.

The fixture is designed for base-mounted placement on a suitable horizontal post, pillar or exterior structure. Select the solar or hardwired configuration according to the intended location and available power arrangement.
Professional installation recommended for the hardwired configuration. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.

Care
Care for brass-alloy and tempered glass surfaces
Clean the fixture using a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners. For hardwired installations, isolate electrical power before cleaning.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
A good starting point is matching the finish to your front door hardware — black, brushed nickel, bronze, or brass. Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Coastal and hamptons-style homes generally suit white or brushed nickel with a simple silhouette.
Some models support dimming, some do not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible outdoor dimmer and may not work with all dimmer brands or smart home systems.
Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
