This square outdoor post light takes a restrained architectural approach, using a black stainless steel body formed as two substantial geometric volumes separated by an illuminated central opening. The concealed light source creates a softer band of illumination between the upper and lower sections, giving the fixture a sculptural presence without exposing the bulb directly.
Three true cubic sizes are available: Small at 9.8″ × 9.8″ × 9.8″ (25 × 25 × 25 cm), Medium at 11.8″ × 11.8″ × 11.8″ (30 × 30 × 30 cm), and Large at 15.7″ × 15.7″ × 15.7″ (40 × 40 × 40 cm). Separate solar and hardwired configurations are available for different exterior installation requirements.

Two geometric volumes separated by a concealed illuminated void
Equal length, width and height give each size a true cubic proportion, creating a strong visual relationship with masonry pillars, posts and structured landscape architecture. The simple geometry keeps the fixture contemporary and allows scale to become one of its defining design features.
A recessed opening separates the upper and lower volumes, allowing light to emerge from within rather than from an exposed front-facing source. The result is a softer architectural glow that highlights the gap between the two forms and creates visual depth after dark.

Professional installation recommended for the hardwired configuration. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.

They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
