For outdoor installation, ensure the electrical connection and wall mounting are completed appropriately for the fixture's IP65 rating and intended location.

Yes, but the level of weather protection varies by product. Look for IP44 minimum for sheltered or covered wall positions, and IP65 or higher for walls fully exposed to rain and direct weather. They mount onto an exterior wall and hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) junction box. Most fixtures come with a backplate that covers the junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations, particularly where new cabling or weatherproof conduit is required.

A fixture flanking a front door should sit at eye level — roughly 5.5–6 feet (1.6–1.8m) from the ground to the centre of the fixture.
