This outdoor post light combines a matte black powder-coated iron body with clear glass, creating a defined architectural fixture for gardens, walkways, courtyards, pillars and entrance areas. The dark structural frame gives the design visual weight, while the transparent glazing keeps the selected bulb visible and allows the illuminated interior to remain part of the overall composition.
Measuring W 5.9″ × H 14.6″ (W 15 × H 37 cm), the fixture is designed for hardwired, base-mounted installation and accepts a replaceable E26/E27 bulb up to 60W. Dimming is supported when the light is paired with a compatible dimmable bulb and dimmer switch.

A restrained exterior frame shaped around clear glass
The matte black powder-coated finish gives the iron body a controlled, understated presence against masonry, rendered walls and landscaped exterior structures. Its vertical proportions make the fixture visually clear without requiring decorative excess.

Lighting Character
Visible bulb illumination with dimming flexibility
The clear glass shade leaves the selected E26/E27 bulb visible within the fixture, allowing bulb shape, colour temperature and light quality to contribute directly to the overall appearance.
When paired with a compatible dimmable bulb and dimmer switch, brightness can be adjusted to suit different exterior settings and times of day. The bulb is not included.

We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging and accessories.
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.

Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
