Industrial Outdoor Wall Light
Frosted Glass and Bold Metalwork in a Refined Industrial Wall Light
Designed around a strong architectural silhouette, this outdoor wall light combines iron, metal and frosted glass to create a fixture with clear industrial character. The substantial frame gives the light visual weight, while the frosted glazing softens the appearance of the bulb and creates a more diffused exterior glow.
Available in Black with Frosted Glass or Coffee Gold with Frosted Glass, the fixture brings two distinct expressions to porches, patios, balconies, gardens, corridors and exterior walls. An IP65 weather-resistant rating supports outdoor use, while the E26 / E27 socket accepts compatible LED or Edison-style bulbs and includes a bulb with the fixture.
Design & Material
Industrial structure softened by diffused glass
Iron and metal form the fixture's structural body, creating a more substantial silhouette than a minimal contemporary wall light. The resulting profile works naturally with industrial, vintage-inspired and architectural exterior settings.
Frosted glass reduces the direct visibility of the light source and softens the illumination across the fixture. This balances the heavier metal structure with a more comfortable lighting effect after dark.
Finish Options
Two finishes for contrasting exterior palettes
Black gives the metal frame stronger definition and creates a pronounced contrast against lighter exterior walls and architectural finishes.
Coffee Gold introduces a warmer decorative tone while retaining the same frosted glazing and substantial industrial form.
Dimensions
Substantial proportions for a defined exterior presence
The fixture measures Ø 9.8″ × W 11.4″ × H 12.6″ / Ø 25 × W 29 × H 32 cm, giving it a broad and substantial profile suitable for entrances, patios and larger exterior wall areas.

Lighting Character
Frosted glass creates a softer interpretation of exposed-bulb lighting
Although the fixture accepts LED or Edison-style bulbs, the frosted glass prevents the bulb from becoming visually dominant. Instead, illumination is softened across the glazing for a more diffused and comfortable exterior effect.
An E26 / E27 bulb is included, while the replaceable bulb format allows the light source to be serviced when required.
Exterior Placement
A substantial wall light for entrances, patios and outdoor living
Outdoor Performance
IP65-rated construction for exterior environments
The wall light carries an IP65 weather-resistant rating and is designed for reliable use across outdoor environments.
Iron, metal and glass form the fixture's primary construction, combining a substantial architectural body with a softly diffusing glass enclosure.
Installation
Hardwired wall mounting for a clean permanent finish
The fixture is designed for permanent hardwired wall installation and operates across AC 110–240V. It is compatible with standard push-switch control, although the wall switch itself is not included.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
For outdoor installation, ensure the mounting and electrical connection are completed appropriately for the fixture's IP65 rating and intended location.
Care
Maintaining the metalwork and frosted glass
Switch off power before cleaning. Remove exterior dust and residue using a soft cloth, and clean the frosted glass gently to preserve its diffused appearance.
Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners that may mark the metal finish or glass surfaces.

Outdoor Wall Lights
Common Questions
Outdoor wall lights mount directly onto an exterior wall surface. They're used at front doors, garage walls, side entries, alfresco areas, fences, and along exterior hallways — providing focused ambient or security lighting at eye level. They work equally well as a single statement fixture or in pairs flanking a door or gate.
Yes, but the level of weather protection varies by product. Look for IP44 minimum for sheltered or covered wall positions, and IP65 or higher for walls fully exposed to rain and direct weather. Coastal properties should look for fixtures with a marine-grade or corrosion-resistant finish. The IP rating is listed on every product page.
They mount onto an exterior wall and hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) junction box. Most fixtures come with a backplate that covers the junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations, particularly where new cabling or weatherproof conduit is required.
This varies by product. Many of our outdoor wall lights use integrated LED — no bulb required. Where a replaceable bulb is needed, the compatible type, wattage, and fitting size are listed on the product page. Never exceed the maximum wattage stated for the fixture.
Match the finish to your existing door hardware, hinges, and house numbers for a cohesive look. Matte black suits contemporary and industrial exteriors. Brushed nickel or chrome works well with modern coastal and hamptons styles. Antique brass or bronze suits federation, colonial, and traditional brick homes. All available finishes are shown on each product page.
Yes. Many of our outdoor wall lights can be paired with a motion sensor switch or installed on a timer for security purposes. Some models have an integrated motion sensor — this is noted on the product page. For pure security applications, look for fixtures with a wider beam angle and cool white light output.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch. Outdoor wall lights can also be wired to a timer, smart switch, or motion sensor for automated control without needing a dimmer.
A fixture flanking a front door should sit at eye level — roughly 5.5–6 feet (1.6–1.8m) from the ground to the centre of the fixture. For a single fixture beside a door, choose a height roughly one third of the door height. For wide garage walls or large exterior facades, consider a wider fixture or two fixtures spaced evenly. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
