Classic Outdoor Lighting
An adjustable brass and glass wall light with architectural presence
Combining a black brass structure with a clear glass shade, this outdoor wall light brings a more traditional architectural character to entryways, patios and garden walls. The transparent enclosure keeps the light source visually present, while the dark metal framework gives the fixture definition and depth against exterior surfaces.
The adjustable design allows the lighting angle to be altered to suit the surrounding architecture. Two size options are available, with hardwired AC 110–240V operation and compatibility with E26 or E27 base bulbs up to 40W. An IP65 rating supports exterior installation.
Design & Material
Traditional proportions defined by brass and clear glass
The brass construction gives the fixture a substantial architectural presence, while the black body colour keeps the overall composition visually restrained. Its medieval-inspired styling introduces a more decorative silhouette than a minimalist exterior wall light.
Clear glass surrounds the light source without concealing it, allowing the bulb to remain part of the visual composition. The contrast between the transparent shade and dark structural body creates depth whether the fitting is switched on or off.
Dimensions
Two proportions for different exterior scales
The wall light is offered in two sizes, allowing the fixture to be scaled according to the surrounding doorway, façade or exterior wall surface.

Outdoor Wall Lights
Common Questions
Outdoor wall lights mount directly onto an exterior wall surface. They're used at front doors, garage walls, side entries, alfresco areas, fences, and along exterior hallways — providing focused ambient or security lighting at eye level. They work equally well as a single statement fixture or in pairs flanking a door or gate.
Yes, but the level of weather protection varies by product. Look for IP44 minimum for sheltered or covered wall positions, and IP65 or higher for walls fully exposed to rain and direct weather. Coastal properties should look for fixtures with a marine-grade or corrosion-resistant finish. The IP rating is listed on every product page.
They mount onto an exterior wall and hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) junction box. Most fixtures come with a backplate that covers the junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations, particularly where new cabling or weatherproof conduit is required.
This varies by product. Many of our outdoor wall lights use integrated LED — no bulb required. Where a replaceable bulb is needed, the compatible type, wattage, and fitting size are listed on the product page. Never exceed the maximum wattage stated for the fixture.
Match the finish to your existing door hardware, hinges, and house numbers for a cohesive look. Matte black suits contemporary and industrial exteriors. Brushed nickel or chrome works well with modern coastal and hamptons styles. Antique brass or bronze suits federation, colonial, and traditional brick homes. All available finishes are shown on each product page.
Yes. Many of our outdoor wall lights can be paired with a motion sensor switch or installed on a timer for security purposes. Some models have an integrated motion sensor — this is noted on the product page. For pure security applications, look for fixtures with a wider beam angle and cool white light output.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch. Outdoor wall lights can also be wired to a timer, smart switch, or motion sensor for automated control without needing a dimmer.
A fixture flanking a front door should sit at eye level — roughly 5.5–6 feet (1.6–1.8m) from the ground to the centre of the fixture. For a single fixture beside a door, choose a height roughly one third of the door height. For wide garage walls or large exterior facades, consider a wider fixture or two fixtures spaced evenly. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
