Modern Outdoor Solar Wall Lamp
Solar-Powered Architectural Light with Automatic Night-Time Illumination
Designed for exterior spaces where clean architecture and independent solar operation are equally important, this modern wall lamp combines stainless steel with acrylic in a substantial vertical form. Its Black Clear finish gives the fixture a restrained contemporary character suited to gardens, patios, walkways and exterior walls.
An integrated LED light source is powered by DC 3.7V solar storage, allowing the fixture to charge during daylight and illuminate automatically after dark. A full charge requires approximately 4–6 hours of sunlight and provides approximately 8–10 hours of illumination, while the included handheld remote provides additional manual control.
Design & Material
Stainless steel structure with a clean acrylic lighting element
At 20.1″ / 51 cm high, the fixture has enough vertical scale to read as a defined architectural element rather than a compact utility light. Its proportions work naturally alongside contemporary entrances, exterior walls and landscaped areas.
Stainless steel provides the primary structural material while acrylic forms part of the illuminated design. Together they create a clean material combination suited to modern outdoor environments.
Dimensions
A substantial vertical profile for exterior walls
The solar wall lamp measures 7.7″ × 7.1″ × 20.1″ / 19.5 × 18 × 51 cm, giving the fixture a clearly defined presence across garden walls, patios and exterior architectural surfaces.

Solar Performance
Designed to charge by day and illuminate after dark
The lamp uses DC 3.7V solar power storage and is designed to charge fully after approximately 4–6 hours of sunlight.
Following a full charge, the fixture provides approximately 8–10 hours of illumination. Actual charging and lighting duration can vary with the amount of available sunlight.
Position the fixture where its solar charging system can receive sufficient sunlight during the day to support night-time operation.
Automatic & Remote Control
Automatic night-time lighting with manual remote control
The wall lamp is designed to switch on automatically at night and turn off during daylight, allowing the fixture to operate without repeated manual switching.
A handheld remote switch provides additional manual control when required.
Exterior Placement
Designed for gardens, patios and outdoor circulation areas
Outdoor Performance
IP65-rated construction for exterior environments
The wall lamp carries an IP65 moisture-resistant rating and is designed for reliable outdoor use.
Stainless steel and acrylic form the primary construction, combining a contemporary architectural appearance with materials specified for exterior applications.
Care
Maintaining the stainless-steel and acrylic surfaces
Remove exterior dust and residue using a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth.
Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners that may affect the stainless-steel finish or acrylic surfaces.

Outdoor Wall Lights
Common Questions
Outdoor wall lights mount directly onto an exterior wall surface. They're used at front doors, garage walls, side entries, alfresco areas, fences, and along exterior hallways — providing focused ambient or security lighting at eye level. They work equally well as a single statement fixture or in pairs flanking a door or gate.
Yes, but the level of weather protection varies by product. Look for IP44 minimum for sheltered or covered wall positions, and IP65 or higher for walls fully exposed to rain and direct weather. Coastal properties should look for fixtures with a marine-grade or corrosion-resistant finish. The IP rating is listed on every product page.
They mount onto an exterior wall and hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) junction box. Most fixtures come with a backplate that covers the junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations, particularly where new cabling or weatherproof conduit is required.
This varies by product. Many of our outdoor wall lights use integrated LED — no bulb required. Where a replaceable bulb is needed, the compatible type, wattage, and fitting size are listed on the product page. Never exceed the maximum wattage stated for the fixture.
Match the finish to your existing door hardware, hinges, and house numbers for a cohesive look. Matte black suits contemporary and industrial exteriors. Brushed nickel or chrome works well with modern coastal and hamptons styles. Antique brass or bronze suits federation, colonial, and traditional brick homes. All available finishes are shown on each product page.
Yes. Many of our outdoor wall lights can be paired with a motion sensor switch or installed on a timer for security purposes. Some models have an integrated motion sensor — this is noted on the product page. For pure security applications, look for fixtures with a wider beam angle and cool white light output.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch. Outdoor wall lights can also be wired to a timer, smart switch, or motion sensor for automated control without needing a dimmer.
A fixture flanking a front door should sit at eye level — roughly 5.5–6 feet (1.6–1.8m) from the ground to the centre of the fixture. For a single fixture beside a door, choose a height roughly one third of the door height. For wide garage walls or large exterior facades, consider a wider fixture or two fixtures spaced evenly. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
