Industrial Gooseneck Outdoor Wall Light
A Classic Barn-Light Silhouette Built for Exterior Architecture
Combining farmhouse influence with the durability of industrial construction, this outdoor wall light is defined by a gently curved gooseneck arm and traditional bowl-shaped shade. The familiar barn-light silhouette creates a strong architectural profile, making the fixture particularly effective across porches, patios, garages and outdoor living areas.
Heavy-duty die-cast iron and an anti-corrosion coating provide the structural foundation for year-round exterior use, while an IP65 waterproof rating supports exposure to rain, wind and direct sunlight. Integrated LED illumination delivers 1400 lumens in a neutral 4500K colour temperature for clear, practical exterior lighting.
Design & Material
Farmhouse proportions reinforced with industrial materials
The gently curved arm projects the shade away from the wall and gives the fixture its recognisable barn-light character. This profile works naturally with farmhouse, industrial and utilitarian exterior architecture.
The traditional iron shade creates a broad downward-facing form, giving the wall light a strong visual outline while directing the integrated illumination across the surrounding exterior area.
Dimensions
Two shade diameters for different exterior scales
The wall light is available with two bowl diameters, allowing the proportion of the fixture to be selected according to the surrounding wall area and architecture.

Product specifications
Lighting Performance
Neutral-white illumination for clarity and exterior visibility
The LED light source produces 1400 lumens at a 4500K neutral-white colour temperature, creating a clearer and more functional lighting effect than warmer decorative exterior lighting.
A luminous efficiency of 90–120 lm/W and CRI 80 support efficient illumination with natural colour clarity, while the specified 180° lighting angle provides broad light distribution.
Exterior Placement
Designed for practical illumination across outdoor architecture
Outdoor Performance
Heavy-duty materials with IP65 weather protection
Die-cast iron, an iron lampshade and an aluminium shell form the fixture's material construction, with an anti-corrosion coating designed to help resist rust and fading.
The IP65 rating is intended to provide protection against outdoor exposure including rain, wind, direct sunlight and dust, supporting year-round exterior use.
LED Performance
Designed for long-term exterior illumination
The LED light source has a stated average lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours, providing long-term illumination without the frequent lamp changes associated with shorter-life light sources.
The fixture is non-dimmable and is specified to operate with its 4500K neutral-white LED output.
Care
Maintaining the coated metal surfaces
Remove exterior dust and residue using a soft cloth. Periodic cleaning can help prevent environmental buildup across the gooseneck arm, shade and surrounding metal surfaces.
Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners that may affect the anti-corrosion coating or surface finish.

Outdoor Wall Lights
Common Questions
Outdoor wall lights mount directly onto an exterior wall surface. They're used at front doors, garage walls, side entries, alfresco areas, fences, and along exterior hallways — providing focused ambient or security lighting at eye level. They work equally well as a single statement fixture or in pairs flanking a door or gate.
Yes, but the level of weather protection varies by product. Look for IP44 minimum for sheltered or covered wall positions, and IP65 or higher for walls fully exposed to rain and direct weather. Coastal properties should look for fixtures with a marine-grade or corrosion-resistant finish. The IP rating is listed on every product page.
They mount onto an exterior wall and hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) junction box. Most fixtures come with a backplate that covers the junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations, particularly where new cabling or weatherproof conduit is required.
This varies by product. Many of our outdoor wall lights use integrated LED — no bulb required. Where a replaceable bulb is needed, the compatible type, wattage, and fitting size are listed on the product page. Never exceed the maximum wattage stated for the fixture.
Match the finish to your existing door hardware, hinges, and house numbers for a cohesive look. Matte black suits contemporary and industrial exteriors. Brushed nickel or chrome works well with modern coastal and hamptons styles. Antique brass or bronze suits federation, colonial, and traditional brick homes. All available finishes are shown on each product page.
Yes. Many of our outdoor wall lights can be paired with a motion sensor switch or installed on a timer for security purposes. Some models have an integrated motion sensor — this is noted on the product page. For pure security applications, look for fixtures with a wider beam angle and cool white light output.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch. Outdoor wall lights can also be wired to a timer, smart switch, or motion sensor for automated control without needing a dimmer.
A fixture flanking a front door should sit at eye level — roughly 5.5–6 feet (1.6–1.8m) from the ground to the centre of the fixture. For a single fixture beside a door, choose a height roughly one third of the door height. For wide garage walls or large exterior facades, consider a wider fixture or two fixtures spaced evenly. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
