The open outer structure keeps the fixture visually light, while the illuminated blocks appear suspended within the frame, giving the design depth and a sculptural presence from multiple viewing angles.
Two widths and two layer configurations create four distinct proportions. The 11″ (28 cm) width is available at 8.7″ (22.1 cm) or 11.8″ (30 cm) high, while the 15.7″ (40 cm) width is available at 12.4″ (31.5 cm) or 16.7″ (42.4 cm) high. The 1 Layer style uses a single horizontal row of diffuser blocks for a broader, lower profile, while the 2 Layer style stacks two rows vertically for greater height and architectural presence. The polycarbonate elements soften the LED illumination within the darker frame.

The polycarbonate elements diffuse the 3000K LED light into defined luminous blocks within the open frame. Their separation creates alternating areas of light, shadow and negative space, giving the fixture a more dimensional appearance than a conventional enclosed pillar light.
The 2 Layer configuration produces a taller illuminated composition, while the 1 Layer version keeps the light concentrated into a lower horizontal band.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
