This modern outdoor pillar light uses a low, square form to create a restrained architectural feature across garden pillars, fence posts, terraces and courtyard settings. A black stainless steel frame gives the fixture its clean outer geometry, while the acrylic shade forms a softly illuminated lower section that contrasts against the darker structure above.
Five sizes range from W 6″ × H 3″ (W 15.2 × H 7.6 cm) through to W 24″ × H 12″ (W 61 × H 30.5 cm), providing a broad choice of scale for different posts and pillars. Separate solar-powered and hardwired configurations are available, with warm white 3000K illumination, remote control for the solar version and wall-switch operation for the hardwired version.

The simple square geometry gives the fixture a grounded presence on posts and pillars without relying on ornamental detailing. Each size maintains a low height relative to its width, creating a broad, composed silhouette that works naturally with contemporary exterior architecture.
Stainless steel forms the black exterior frame, while acrylic creates the illuminated lower section. The material contrast becomes most apparent after dark, when the warm light sits beneath the darker upper body and gives the fixture a floating, layered appearance.

Simple care for stainless steel and acrylic surfaces
Clean the fixture using a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners. For hardwired installations, isolate electrical power before cleaning.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.

Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
