This modern outdoor pillar light combines a die-cast aluminium body with a broad rectangular form, creating a grounded architectural feature for fence posts, terraces, pathways and entrance pillars. The black outer structure frames the softly illuminated side panels, while the low horizontal profile gives the fixture visual presence without excessive height.
Four sizes are available, beginning at L 11.8″ × W 11.8″ × H 7.1″ (30 × 30 × H 18 cm) and extending to L 23.6″ × W 23.6″ × H 9.8″ (59.9 × 59.9 × H 24.9 cm). Separate solar and hardwired configurations are available with warm white 3000K illumination; the solar version uses a 4000mAh rechargeable battery, while the hardwired version operates at 110–240V and accepts a replaceable E26/E27 LED bulb.

A broad square profile designed around light, texture and scale
The fixture maintains a relatively shallow height across increasingly broad square footprints, giving it a composed, grounded relationship with the supporting post or pillar. The larger sizes create substantially more visual weight without becoming overly tall.
The dark aluminium structure creates a strong perimeter around the illuminated panels, while the warm internal light brings out their visible texture. This contrast gives the fixture a layered appearance after dusk and keeps the lighting effect architectural rather than ornamental.

Lighting Character
Warm 3000K illumination across a broad horizontal surface
Warm white 3000K illumination gives the fixture a softer exterior character, making it well suited to terraces, pathways, entryways and architectural boundaries where a welcoming evening tone is preferred.
The low proportions spread the illuminated surface horizontally, allowing the fixture to read as part of the supporting architecture rather than as a tall lantern above it.

Professional installation recommended for the hardwired configuration. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.

Care
Straightforward care for the aluminium exterior
Clean the fixture using a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners. For hardwired installations, isolate electrical power before cleaning.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.

Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
