The softly illuminated body gives the fixture a visually light character after dark, while the geometric proportions keep the overall design restrained and contemporary.
Three sizes range from W 7.9″ × D 7.9″ × H 6.3″ (W 20.1 × D 20.1 × H 16 cm) through to W 15.7″ × D 15.7″ × H 12.6″ (W 39.9 × D 39.9 × H 32 cm). Separate solar and hardwired configurations are available, both using integrated LED lighting with warm white 3000K illumination.

Clean square proportions with softly diffused light
The fixture is built around a simple square volume, keeping the visual language precise and uncluttered. As the sizes increase, the design gains greater architectural weight while retaining the same balanced relationship between width, depth and height.
A stainless steel frame provides the structural foundation, while the polyethylene shade diffuses the integrated LED light across the illuminated body. This material contrast creates a softer glow within the more defined exterior framework.

Lighting Character
Warm 3000K light softened through polyethylene
The integrated LED provides warm white 3000K illumination, giving garden paths, entryways and exterior pillars a softer evening character. The polyethylene shade diffuses the light across the illuminated surfaces and helps reduce harsh visual contrast.
The square geometry keeps the overall lighting effect architectural rather than decorative, allowing the glowing body to read as part of the surrounding exterior structure.

Professional installation recommended for the hardwired configuration. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.

Care
Simple care for stainless steel and polyethylene surfaces
Clean the fixture with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners. For hardwired installations, isolate electrical power before cleaning.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.

Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
