Diamond-patterned glass with self-sufficient solar illumination
The Solar Diamond Post Light brings a more decorative quality to exterior post lighting through its aluminium body and distinctive diamond-patterned glass. The faceted glazing adds texture around the lantern and refracts the illuminated surface, giving the fixture visual depth across pathways, garden posts, pillars, gates and entrance areas.
Available in three sizes from 11.8″ × 11.8″ × H 13.8″ (30 × 30 × H 35 cm) through to 19.7″ × 19.7″ × H 21.7″ (50 × 50 × H 55 cm), the fixture uses an integrated LED powered by a DC 3.2V solar system. Under suitable sunlight conditions, charging takes approximately 4–6 hours for around 8–10 hours of illumination, with automatic day/night operation and remote control.
Design & Illumination
Faceted glass gives the lantern its distinctive character
The translucent glass is formed with a decorative diamond pattern that breaks up the surface of the lantern and adds depth around the integrated light source. When illuminated, the patterned panels give the fixture a more textured appearance than conventional flat-glass post lighting.
An aluminium body frames the patterned glass and provides a defined architectural outline around the lantern. Black, Bronze and Copper finish options allow the same geometry to take on a different visual character according to the surrounding gate, pillar or landscape palette.

Medium, Large and Extra Large sizes progressively increase the footprint and height of the fixture. The collection ranges from 11.8″ (30 cm) square through to 19.7″ (50 cm) square, allowing the lantern to be proportioned to smaller posts or more substantial entrance pillars.

Solar Performance
Automatic illumination from dusk through the evening
Under suitable sunlight conditions, the solar system requires approximately 4–6 hours to charge and provides around 8–10 hours of illumination after a full charge. The integrated light sensor automatically switches the fixture on at night and off during daylight.
An included remote control provides an additional method of manual operation, allowing the solar fixture to be controlled without direct access to the lantern.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
A good starting point is matching the finish to your front door hardware — black, brushed nickel, bronze, or brass. Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Coastal and hamptons-style homes generally suit white or brushed nickel with a simple silhouette.
Some models support dimming, some do not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible outdoor dimmer and may not work with all dimmer brands or smart home systems.
Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
