This modern outdoor pillar light uses a simple rectilinear lantern form to create a composed architectural presence across gates, fences, courtyards, walkways and entryways. A die-cast aluminium body defines the structure, while the acrylic shade softens the visual contrast of the frame and creates an evenly framed illuminated surface.
Four sizes range from 9.8″ × 9.8″ × H 8.7″ (24.9 × 24.9 × H 22.1 cm) through to 19.7″ × 19.7″ × H 16.9″ (50 × 50 × H 42.9 cm), allowing the fixture to be scaled to different posts and pillars. Separate solar and hardwired configurations are available, with the solar model offering a 4400mAh rechargeable battery and three colour temperatures, while the hardwired model operates at 7W with warm white 3000K illumination.

A restrained lantern profile with strong geometric structure
The square base, upright frame and low-pitched roof create a clear geometric composition that works naturally with contemporary exterior architecture. Its relatively low profile keeps the light visually grounded on a post or pillar while still giving the installation a defined architectural finish.
Die-cast aluminium forms the structural body, while the acrylic shade creates a lighter visual plane within the darker frame. The contrast between the solid exterior structure and illuminated shade gives the fixture a composed appearance both during the day and when lit after dark.

The collection is available in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large sizes, ranging from 9.8″ (24.9 cm) square to 19.7″ (50 cm) square. Each size increases in both footprint and height, allowing the lantern to be matched more naturally to the surrounding architecture.

Power Options
Solar flexibility or a dedicated hardwired connection
Separate solar and hardwired configurations allow the fixture to be selected according to the available power arrangement and preferred lighting setup.
The solar model uses LED illumination with 3000K Warm White, 4500K Neutral White and 6000K Cool White options. Under suitable sunlight conditions, charging takes approximately 4–6 hours, with approximately 8–12 hours of working time.
The hardwired version operates at 110–240V and is compatible with a replaceable E26/E27 LED bulb, providing warm white 3000K illumination.
Lighting Character
Warm hardwired lighting or selectable solar colour temperature
The hardwired configuration provides warm white 3000K lighting, giving pathways, entrances and exterior boundaries a softer evening character.
The solar configuration offers three colour-temperature options — 3000K Warm White, 4500K Neutral White and 6000K Cool White — allowing the visual tone of the illumination to be adjusted to suit the surrounding architecture and outdoor setting.

Professional installation recommended for the hardwired configuration. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.

Straightforward care for aluminium and acrylic surfaces
Clean the fixture with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners. For hardwired installations, isolate electrical power before cleaning.

They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.

Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
