This outdoor post light combines a brass body with an acrylic diffuser, creating a balanced square fixture for gates, fences, entry columns, decks, patios and garden pathways. The Bronze finish adds warmth to the stepped architectural frame, while the vertically ribbed diffuser introduces texture across the illuminated surfaces.
Three sizes are available: Small at L 9.8″ × W 9.8″ × H 7.9″ (25 × 25 × H 20 cm), Medium at L 11.8″ × W 11.8″ × H 8.7″ (30 × 30 × H 22 cm), and Large at L 15.7″ × W 15.7″ × H 11″ (40 × 40 × H 28 cm). The fixture operates at 110–240V and uses a replaceable E26/E27 LED bulb.

Layered square geometry shaped by warm metal and vertical texture
Each size uses a broad square footprint with a comparatively restrained height, giving the fixture a composed relationship with posts, pillars and boundary structures. Stepped detailing through the upper and lower frame adds depth while maintaining a clean silhouette.
Brass defines the structural perimeter of the fixture, while the acrylic shade forms the illuminated centre. Fine vertical ribbing creates repeated highlights and shadows across the diffuser, adding texture without relying on decorative ornament.

Fine vertical ribs across the acrylic shade break the illuminated surface into repeated highlights and shadows, creating greater visual depth than a smooth diffuser while softening the appearance of the internal light source.
The broad illuminated surfaces sit within the Bronze frame as a distinct central volume, giving the fixture a warm architectural presence across posts, pillars and exterior boundaries.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
A good starting point is matching the finish to your front door hardware — black, brushed nickel, bronze, or brass. Clean geometric profiles suit contemporary homes; lantern shapes suit federation, colonial, or classic brick builds. Coastal and hamptons-style homes generally suit white or brushed nickel with a simple silhouette.
Some models support dimming, some do not — this is listed on each product page. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible outdoor dimmer and may not work with all dimmer brands or smart home systems.
Yes. As long as the fixture is hardwired, it can be controlled by any compatible timer switch, smart switch, or home automation system wired into the same circuit. If you also want brightness control, ensure the fixture is dimmable and paired with a compatible dimmer.
