This outdoor pillar light combines a substantial solid copper body with a white glass shade, creating a strong architectural feature for fence posts, courtyard pillars, columns and entrance structures. The tapered lantern form gives the fixture a more vertical presence, while the black finish defines the copper framework against the softly illuminated glass.
Measuring L 9.85″ × D 9.85″ × H 15.35″ (L 25 × D 25 × H 39 cm), the fixture is designed for hardwired, base-mounted installation. It operates at 110–240V and accepts a replaceable E26/E27 bulb, allowing the compatible light source and colour temperature to be selected according to the intended exterior atmosphere.

Lighting Character
Soft glass diffusion with replaceable bulb flexibility
The white glass shade helps diffuse the light within the fixture, reducing the direct visual impact of the bulb and creating a softer illuminated surface behind the copper framework.
Compatibility with suitable E26/E27 bulbs allows the colour temperature and visual character of the light to be selected according to the surrounding architecture. The bulb is not included.

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount on top of or onto the face of brick, stone, or rendered pillars, posts, and gate columns. They're commonly used at driveway entrances, garden gates, fence posts, and courtyard columns — providing both functional lighting and a strong architectural statement at entry points.
Yes. Pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor exposure. Check for an IP44 rating minimum for covered or sheltered pillars, and IP65 or higher for fully exposed installations. The IP rating for each fixture is listed on the product page.
Most pillar lights are hardwired into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) outdoor circuit, with the cable routed through or along the pillar. Some post-top models sit over a hollow post with wiring fed through the centre. We recommend a licensed electrician for all hardwired outdoor installations.
Most of our pillar lights use integrated LED, so no bulb changes are ever needed. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Where a fixture takes a replaceable bulb, the compatible type and fitting size are listed on the product page.
As a general rule, the fixture should be no wider than the pillar face it sits on. Post-top models list the compatible post diameter in their specs. For gate pillars and columns, taller lantern-style fixtures tend to be the most proportionate. Full dimensions are listed on every product page.
