A tiered roof, curved vertical ribs and an elongated body give this outdoor pendant the character of a traditional pagoda lantern. The bronze gold finish brings warmth to the die-cast aluminium framework, which surrounds translucent faux alabaster panels to create a decorative focal point in covered exterior settings.
Available in Small and Large, with widths of 24 cm / 9.4″ and 32 cm / 12.6″, the pendant offers two distinct proportions for porches, verandas and covered entertaining areas. Adjustable chain suspension of up to 150 cm / 59″ allows the hanging height to be tailored during installation, and one replaceable E26 / E27 bulb is included.
Design & Illumination
Tiered detailing with a sculpted lantern outline
The tiered upper roof, curved side framing and ornamental lower section give the lantern detail throughout its length. These elements create depth from front and angled viewpoints, while the chain suspension reinforces the traditional hanging proportions.
The bronze gold finish defines the aluminium ribs against the lighter faux alabaster panels. When illuminated, the translucent enclosure becomes a softly glowing surface, with the surrounding metalwork remaining clearly outlined.

Installation
Hardwired ceiling mounting with an adjustable chain
The pendant requires a hardwired mains connection and operates on 110–240V. Set the hanging position during installation, considering both the lantern body height and chain length. Allow comfortable clearance beneath the fitting in covered entrances and circulation areas.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Care
Care for the frame and diffuser panels
Switch off the power before cleaning. Wipe the aluminium frame and faux alabaster panels with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.
We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging and accessories.
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs once the issue has been confirmed.

Outdoor hanging lights — also called exterior pendant lights or hanging lanterns — are suspended ceiling-mounted fixtures designed for covered outdoor spaces. They're most commonly used on verandahs, patios, porches, pergolas, entryways, and alfresco dining areas, providing ambient overhead lighting while adding a decorative focal point to the space.
Most outdoor hanging lights are rated for covered or sheltered installations only — protected from direct rain but exposed to humidity and temperature changes. If your space is uncovered or exposed to direct weather, look for a fixture with an IP65 rating or higher. The IP rating and installation requirements are listed on each product page.
They hardwire into a 120V (US) or 240V (AU) ceiling junction box, the same as an indoor pendant. The key difference outdoors is that the junction box must be rated for exterior use and properly sealed. We recommend a licensed electrician for all outdoor ceiling installations.
Yes, on most models. The majority of our outdoor hanging lights come with an adjustable cord or chain that can be shortened at installation. The maximum drop length is listed on each product page so you can plan for your ceiling height before purchasing.
For covered alfresco and patio areas, a minimum clearance of 7 feet (2.1m) from the floor to the bottom of the fixture is recommended. Over dining tables or seating, hanging slightly lower — around 6.5–7 feet (2–2.1m) — creates a more intimate feel. Always account for wind movement in open-sided outdoor spaces.
In open-sided covered areas like pergolas or verandahs, some gentle movement is normal. Look for fixtures with a heavier base or a rigid mounting arm if wind movement is a concern. Lighter fixtures with long cord drops are better suited to fully enclosed or sheltered spaces.
This varies by product and is listed on each product page. Many of our outdoor hanging lights use integrated LED and require no bulb at all. Where a replaceable bulb is required, the compatible type and fitting are specified in the product listing.
Some models are dimmable, some are not — check the product page before purchasing. Where dimming is supported, a compatible exterior-rated dimmer switch is required. Outdoor hanging lights can also be placed on a timer or smart switch for automated on/off control.
