Installation
Hardwired wall installation
Monty is designed for hardwired wall mounting and operation through a compatible wall switch. Its compact projection allows the fixture to sit relatively close to the wall while retaining the depth and visual character of the cylindrical alabaster shade.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Care
Preserving the character of alabaster and brass
Switch off the power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning. Gently remove surface dust using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads, harsh chemical cleaners and excessive moisture on the natural alabaster shade or metal components.
Natural variations in alabaster veining, translucency and tone are characteristic of the material. These differences give each shade its individual appearance and should be appreciated as part of the fixture's organic character.
