Installation
Recessed wall preparation and hardwired connection
The Reading Wall Lamp is designed for hardwired wall installation and requires a recessed back-box cut-out measuring 7 × 7 × 4.5 cm (2.8″ × 2.8″ × 1.8″). The mounting panel measures 8 cm in diameter and 11 cm in height.
The required wall opening should be considered before installation, particularly when coordinating the fixture with existing wall finishes, joinery or bedside layouts. This model is not suitable for installation in a standard J-box.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Advise your electrician of the required recessed cut-out dimensions before installation work begins.
Care
Simple care for a lasting appearance
Switch off the light and allow it to cool before cleaning. Gently wipe the metal surfaces with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads, harsh chemical cleaners and excessive moisture around the light head, adjustable joints and switch.
