When illuminated, the translucent alabaster reveals its distinctive veining and produces a gentle, diffused glow. Available in two heights of 35 cm and 50 cm, the fixture is supplied with its light source included in Warm White 3000K, creating an inviting atmosphere beside beds, along hallways or as a refined accent in living spaces.

The character of genuine alabaster
The elongated shade is formed from natural alabaster, a translucent stone distinguished by its delicate internal patterns and subtle variations in colour. These organic markings give each fixture its own character, becoming particularly expressive as light passes through the material.
A restrained vertical silhouette
The cylindrical form creates a continuous line of visual interest without excessive projection from the wall. The natural alabaster shade is complemented by a choice of contrasting metal finishes, allowing the fixture to sit comfortably alongside different architectural details, furniture and interior palettes.
Finish 01 Brass
Warm golden-toned detailing creates a gentle relationship with the alabaster's natural cream and white variations. Particularly suited to interiors with timber, warm metals and layered neutral finishes.
Finish 02 Black
Dark metal detailing introduces a sharper contrast against the pale stone, emphasising the fixture's geometry. A considered choice for contemporary interiors with black hardware or restrained monochromatic palettes.
Lighting Character
A soft glow shaped by natural alabaster
Rather than exposing the light source directly, the alabaster shade filters illumination through its translucent surface. This creates a gentle visual softness while revealing the intricate patterns within the stone. The elongated profile allows the illuminated shade to read as a slender architectural feature against the wall.

As alabaster is a natural material, variations in veining, translucency and colour are to be expected. Each illuminated shade will therefore display its own distinctive stone character.

Installation
Hardwired wall-mounted installation
The Melange is designed for hardwired wall installation and operates through an external wall switch. Its 8 cm projection maintains a relatively close relationship with the wall surface, supporting a clean, integrated appearance.
The fixture uses two AC line-voltage G4 light sources. Any replacement bulbs must match the electrical requirements of the installation. AC 120V G4 bulbs are specified for North American installations, while AC 220V G4 bulbs are specified for Australian and European installations. Standard 12V low-voltage G4 bulbs are not compatible.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Care
Preserving the character of natural stone
Switch off the power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning. Gently remove dust from the alabaster with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning materials, as natural alabaster is porous and requires careful handling.
Natural differences in veining, tone and translucency are inherent characteristics of alabaster and contribute to the individuality of each fixture.
