Linear Timber Pendant
A refined line of natural timber and light
Defined by an exceptionally slim horizontal silhouette, this linear pendant introduces the warmth and character of natural timber without overwhelming the architecture around it. Suspended by fine cables, the elongated body appears visually light above a kitchen island, dining table or work surface while creating a strong, deliberate line through the interior.
Crafted in Pine and Black Walnut and available in four lengths from 31.5″ / 80 cm through to 71″ / 180 cm, the design can be scaled to suit everything from compact counters to substantial islands. Integrated LED illumination and an adjustable suspension system complete the clean, contemporary composition.

Design & Performance
Minimal form with natural warmth
Timber takes the visual lead
Instead of decorative ornament, the pendant relies on material, proportion and a disciplined horizontal profile. The timber body adds warmth and visible natural character while remaining slim enough to complement contemporary cabinetry, stone benchtops and restrained architectural interiors.
Light integrated into the silhouette
The LED source is built directly into the linear form rather than expressed through separate globes or shades. This keeps the fixture visually uninterrupted and provides illumination along the length of the pendant, reinforcing its clean architectural character.
Timber Selection
Choose the tone that suits the interior
The timber finish changes the visual weight of the pendant while preserving the same minimal linear language. Consider surrounding cabinetry, flooring, furniture and stone finishes when choosing between the lighter and deeper timber tones.
Lighter Timber
Pine
Pine creates a lighter, softer presence that works naturally with pale cabinetry, warm neutrals and interiors built around understated timber finishes.
Deeper Timber
Black Walnut
Black Walnut introduces stronger contrast and a richer visual weight, giving the slim linear fixture greater definition against light ceilings, stone surfaces and neutral interiors.
Dimensions
Four lengths for different architectural scales
Choose the pendant length in relation to the island, dining table or work surface beneath it. The adjustable suspension allows the final hanging position to be refined during installation rather than requiring the fixture to remain at its maximum listed drop.
80 cm
W 31.5″ × H 78.7″ / W 80 × H 200 cm
120 cm
W 47.2″ × H 78.7″ / W 120 × H 200 cm
150 cm
W 59″ × H 78.7″ / W 150 × H 200 cm
180 cm
W 71″ × H 78.7″ / W 180 × H 200 cm
The 78.7″ / 200 cm height represents the listed suspended configuration and can be shortened during installation. Final hanging height should be selected according to ceiling height, furniture position and the desired sightline through the room.
Placement Guide
Designed for long, horizontal surfaces
The pendant is most effective where its elongated shape can follow an existing architectural or furniture line, creating a deliberate visual relationship between the ceiling and the surface below.
Kitchen Islands
Centre the pendant above the benchtop and align it parallel with the island to create a clean, balanced composition.
Dining Tables
The linear proportions suit rectangular dining tables particularly well, echoing their length without requiring multiple individual pendants.
Workspaces
Use above a long desk, studio table or dedicated work surface where an understated horizontal fixture complements the furniture below.
Scale & Configuration
Match the pendant to the proportions below it
The 31.5″ / 80 cm version creates the most compact composition, while the 47.2″ / 120 cm and 59″ / 150 cm sizes provide greater visual coverage for medium and larger islands or dining tables. At 71″ / 180 cm, the longest configuration has a distinctly architectural presence and is designed for expansive horizontal surfaces.
Suspension height provides a second layer of adjustment. A lower installation creates a stronger connection between the pendant and the surface beneath it, while a higher position preserves a more open sightline through the room. Keeping the fixture level, centred and parallel with the furniture below will give the linear form its most intentional appearance.

Installation
Set the final height to suit the room
The pendant is designed for hardwired ceiling installation with adjustable suspension cables. Before installation, establish the centre line of the island, table or work surface and determine the finished hanging position so the fixture can be aligned accurately with the architecture below.
Professional installation recommended. As this is a hardwired ceiling fixture, installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical requirements.
Both suspension points should be adjusted carefully so the long timber body remains level. Where a dimmable configuration is selected, confirm compatibility with the intended control method before installation.
Care
Caring for the timber finish
Remove dust regularly using a clean, soft and dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents and harsh chemical cleaners that may alter the appearance of the timber or surrounding fixture components.
If more thorough cleaning is required, use a lightly dampened soft cloth and dry the surface promptly. Avoid saturating the timber or allowing moisture to collect around the LED diffuser, suspension cables or ceiling hardware.
