The Modern LED Bedside Reading Light brings a considered approach to personal illumination, combining a minimalist rectangular wall plate with a concealed, retractable reading head. Crafted from aluminium alloy and metal, its compact geometry creates a clean architectural detail beside the bed, with no exposed switches or projecting arms when the light is closed.
A simple press releases the integrated LED reading head, automatically activating a focused beam that can be pivoted towards a book or reading position. When no longer required, the head presses back into the wall plate and switches off. Measuring 19 cm in length and just 8 cm in width, the fixture is particularly suited to contemporary bedrooms, guest suites and thoughtfully designed bedside joinery.

An uninterrupted wall profile
The elongated rectangular housing is deliberately restrained, allowing the fixture to sit quietly within a bedroom interior. Its concealed reading head returns flush with the face of the plate when closed, maintaining a streamlined appearance without the visual complexity of a conventional swing-arm lamp.
A refined metal construction
The aluminium alloy and metal body gives the fitting a crisp, contemporary character. A selection of matt and metallic finishes allows the fixture to coordinate with surrounding architectural hardware, upholstered headboards, timber panelling or minimalist wall treatments.

Lighting Options
Choose your preferred lighting control
The integrated 3W LED is supplied in 3000K warm white as standard, providing a comfortable tone for evening reading. Alternative colour temperatures of 4000K neutral white and 6000K cool white are available upon request.
Standard Version
Push-to-Activate On/Off
Press the concealed reading head to release it and illuminate. Return the head to its closed position to switch the light off. The standard version operates without dimming.
Dimmable Version
Triac Dimmable Warm Light
A dedicated 3000K warm white dimmable configuration is available for adjustable brightness. This version requires a compatible Triac dimmer switch for dimming control.
Functional Performance
A reading light that disappears when not in use
The concealed operating mechanism is central to the fixture's design. Rather than relying on a visible toggle switch or permanent projecting arm, the light combines activation, adjustment and storage within one compact wall-mounted assembly.
Step 01
Press to Activate
Gently press the reading head. It releases from the wall plate and the integrated LED switches on automatically.
Step 02
Adjust the Beam
Pivot the extended head towards your reading position for focused illumination without relying on general room lighting.
Step 03
Close to Switch Off
Press the head back into the housing until flush with the plate. The light switches off, restoring the clean exterior.

Installation
Hardwired wall installation
The fitting is designed for hardwired wall installation and can be positioned on either side of the bed. The installation requires a junction box cutout measuring 170 × 60 × 60 mm. This requirement should be considered during wall preparation and electrical planning, particularly where the light is being integrated into joinery or a custom headboard arrangement.
The IP20 rating makes the fixture suitable for dry indoor environments. It is not intended for bathrooms, damp locations or exterior installation.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
Care
Maintaining the finish
Switch off the power before cleaning. Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth to remove dust and surface marks. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemical cleaners and excessive moisture, particularly around the retractable head and switching mechanism.
