Natural Stone Ceiling Lighting
The quiet beauty of yellow travertine in a refined architectural form
Combining the organic character of natural yellow travertine with the warmth of wood, this flush mount ceiling light offers a considered expression of Japanese-inspired minimalist design. Its cylindrical stone shade reveals delicate pores, subtle tonal variations and irregular surface markings, creating a richly textured contrast against the smooth, dark wood ceiling base. The restrained circular silhouette allows the materials themselves to become the defining feature.
An acrylic diffuser sits within the recessed underside of the travertine shade, softening the LED illumination for a comfortable, evenly distributed glow. The fixture offers 3000K, 4500K and 6000K colour temperature settings alongside stepless dimming for adaptable lighting. With a stone shade measuring approximately 20 cm in diameter and 7.11 cm in height, its compact profile makes it particularly suited to entrances, hallways, intimate living spaces and covered transitional areas.

Design & Material
Natural stone texture balanced by the warmth of wood
The organic character of yellow travertine
The cylindrical shade showcases the distinctive surface of yellow travertine, with naturally occurring pores, fine markings and subtle variations in colour. Its warm beige and sandy tones introduce an understated material richness, particularly suited to interiors featuring plaster, limestone, timber and other tactile finishes. The stone's irregular detailing provides visual depth while preserving the simplicity of the circular form.
A considered combination of wood and diffused light
A circular wood ceiling base sits above the broader travertine shade, introducing a darker, warmer accent to the composition. Beneath the stone, a recessed white acrylic diffuser creates a clean illuminated surface. The contrast between the textured stone, smooth wood and softly glowing diffuser gives the fitting a balanced architectural presence without unnecessary ornamentation.
Dimensions
Compact circular proportions with a discreet ceiling footprint
The travertine shade measures approximately 20.07 cm (7.9″) in diameter and 7.11 cm (2.8″) in height. The smaller wood ceiling base measures 11.94 cm (4.7″) in diameter, creating a subtly stepped silhouette between the mounting component and the broader stone body. These compact proportions make the fitting particularly effective where a restrained decorative ceiling feature is preferred.

Lighting Options
Three colour temperatures with adjustable brightness
The LED lighting offers three colour temperature settings, allowing the appearance of the illumination to be adapted between warm, neutral and cool white. Stepless dimming provides further flexibility in brightness, allowing the atmosphere to be adjusted for different activities and times of day.
Colour Temperature 01
Warm White – 3000K
Creates a warm, inviting lighting atmosphere that complements the sandy tones and natural texture of the travertine. Particularly suited to relaxed living spaces, bedrooms and intimate evening settings.
Colour Temperature 02
Neutral White – 4500K
Provides a balanced white lighting appearance suited to hallways, entrances and multipurpose interiors where a cleaner visual character is preferred.
Colour Temperature 03
Cool White – 6000K
Offers a crisp, cooler lighting appearance for more functional settings and contemporary interiors where brighter-looking white illumination is desired.
Lighting Character
Softly recessed illumination within a natural stone frame
The white acrylic diffuser softens the LED light, creating an even illuminated surface beneath the cylindrical stone shade. Its recessed placement establishes a distinct contrast between the solid travertine surround and the glowing centre, giving the fitting a calm, understated appearance rather than the visual sharpness of an exposed bulb.
The adjustable colour temperature and stepless dimming functionality allow the lighting to respond to different environments. Warmer settings bring out the soft beige character of the stone, while neutral and cool white settings create a cleaner illumination effect. Even when switched off, the natural travertine and contrasting wood base remain a distinctive decorative detail.
Placement
Natural material character for intimate architectural spaces
The compact cylindrical silhouette and organic stone texture make this fixture particularly effective in interiors that favour natural materials and restrained detailing. Its IP44 protection also offers additional flexibility for appropriately sheltered areas where exposure to splashing water may occur.
Entrances & Hallways
Introduces warm stone texture to transitional spaces, complementing timber doors, plaster walls and minimalist architectural finishes without requiring a large ceiling footprint.
Bedrooms & Living Spaces
The soft acrylic diffusion and adjustable lighting create a comfortable atmosphere, while the travertine and wood pairing complements neutral upholstery, timber furniture and organic interior palettes.
Covered Transitional Areas
A considered decorative option for sheltered entrances and covered balconies where the installation location is compatible with the fixture's IP44 rating and local electrical requirements.
Outdoor Performance
IP44 protection for appropriately sheltered installations
The fixture carries an IP44 rating, providing protection against solid objects greater than 1 mm and splashing water from different directions. This makes it suitable for consideration in covered transitional areas as well as indoor spaces, provided the installation location and degree of exposure are appropriate for the rating.
For covered outdoor applications, the mounting position should remain appropriately sheltered, and the installation should comply with applicable local electrical requirements. The IP44 rating should not be interpreted as protection against direct water jets, immersion or unrestricted weather exposure.
Installation
Hardwired flush mount ceiling installation
The fixture is designed for fixed hardwired ceiling installation, with a circular wood mounting base positioned above the broader travertine shade. Its compact proportions provide a restrained architectural appearance, while the natural stone construction requires an appropriately supported mounting location. Installation positioning should account for the fixture's materials, ceiling clearance and environmental exposure.
Professional installation recommended. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician and in accordance with applicable local electrical requirements.
For covered transitional or outdoor locations, the electrician should confirm that the installation environment is appropriate for the fixture's IP44 rating.
Care
Preserving the natural travertine surface and wood detailing
Switch off the power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning. Gently remove surface dust using a soft, dry cloth, taking care around the natural pores and textured areas of the travertine. Clean accessible acrylic surfaces carefully with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads, acidic or harsh chemical cleaners and excessive moisture around the stone, wood and electrical components.
